About 1 km west of Esch-sur-Sûre lies the Upper Sûre Lake. In addition to the drinking water supply and the production of electricity, the lake today serves as a much-used recreational area.
Flux will be stationed at Plage 2 in Insenborn with their Food Trailer, so that you don’t need to bring anything but your swimming gear. Flux is a northern Burger joint serving local Angus Burgers as well as fresh cut fries and other homemade specialties. They also got ice cold drinks on tap.
At the "Fuussefeld" beach there are several permanently installed barbecue areas. If you’re not in the mood for burger but are craving some traditional local meat and sausages, Flux got you covered. These products come from the local Butcher Niessen and will be sold with fresh bread if needed as well as with grill coals and even the correct grilling utensils for free.
The ticket is meant to book a place at the beach. Sports activities around the lake without spending time at the beach area (for example hiking, canoeing, etc.) are still permitted without a ticket.
The following rules apply on the bathing beaches / in the water:
- Motor boats are not allowed.
- Dogs are not allowed on the beaches or in the water.
- Camping on the site is prohibited.
- The beaches should be kept clean: Litter belongs in the rubbish bin.
- Barbecues are only allowed in the designated areas. You can find permanently installed barbecue areas in Insenborn at the beach "Fussefeld" Plage 2.

Yes! Sure! The place is amazing to spend the day with kids. Just the price was 6€ until last month and now is 10€ by car. I dont understand why they augmented the valeu that much.

The increase from 6 euros to 10 euros for a full day of parking done last weekend is outrageous! 1. there is no half a day ticket, meaning, if a person arrives around 14h, needs to pay the entire day, 10 euros... 2. it was already expensive when it costed 6 euros, now even more... 3. the only thing improved since last year, are new bathrooms and free sun scream... rest of equipment remains the same and the beach looks exactly the same since 3+ years ago... same broken barbecues areas, no stairs to the grass, no vigilant on the beach, parkings are on the dirt...

I am used to come here for 60 years , so here a few comments: - booking went ok, but it is not clear whether a parking ticket needs to be bought or not - new toilet facility ok , but I am not sure about the efficiency of its ventilation system, since its doors are always closed; also, the men's door which is the most used is not labeled ! - food truck was closed - lake water was good, - I would put a wooden island in the middle of the distance to the other side cheers; jcs

Great place to enjoy a sunny day and to do a picnic or barbecue. The kids can play safely and parents can relax. The toilets are clean as the whole area. I think this is one of the most disputed places in Grand Duché during the summer, which is not a surprise for me. :-)

Beautiful place in the Nature, but too noisy with extremely loud music and disrespectful people... Signs do not allow dogs, but there are dogs everywhere (and not on leach, pit bulls included, and shitting wherever they want) Rules allow barbecues only on the built areas for it, but everyone does them wherever they want. No staircases to the grass, we have to go down on the slippery dirt full of roots (suggestion: just put some wood staircases there, it will look nice and help people go down) No security on the beach to guarantee that rules are respected, only on the entrance on the top for the parking payment...

Sunny, windy, friends, barbecue grill... what else could we ask for? Perfect Sunday day spent at the Lake Beach in Luxembourg... would go back there many more times! Lovely place!
