Copper Mine Museum: an excursion below ground
Follow in the footsteps of the miners at the Copper Mine Museum. Your guided tour of the former copper mine includes a museum explaining the geological features of the region, the history of the copper mine and the extraction techniques that were used, a geological discovery trail with ten interpretation panels and, the real highlight, the underground tunnels. The tour lasts between two and three hours. Children under the age of six must be accompanied by their parents. Helmets, raincoats and boots are provided free of charge.
