Old Cloth Factory “Duch vum Séi”
A former cloth factory is home to an exhibition about the history of wool processing and cloth manufacture. Demonstrations of cloth-making are given on carefully restored textile machines that can be put into operation for guided tours on request. The exclusive woollen fabrics that are made here are available to purchase from the museum shop. The blankets, shawls, ponchos, wash bags, handbags and key fobs are only made in small numbers and are therefore unique. On the first floor of the cloth factory, an interactive exhibition tells visitors about the Upper Sûre Nature Park, the people who live there and the fauna and flora around the reservoir.
