Starting point: Diekirch station
We walk through the town and pass the church. We come across the national footpath "Sentier du Nord" (sign: yellow diamond), which we follow as far as the heights above the Bamerdall. We come past the Fridhaff and go along the Fridbësch. We walk downhill towards the Sûre. We cross the Mëchelbaach and arrive in Erpeldange, where we cross the Sûre. We follow for some time the national footpath "Sentier Victor Hugo" (sign: yellow triangle), before we go over the Warkener Haard to Ettelbruck. We continue towards the station, where the trail ends.
