Gentle exploring along the water
The Nature Park of the Upper Sûre is located in the northwestern part of Luxembourg. In the heart of the park is a lake which supplies about 70% of households in Luxembourg with drinking water. Throughout the year, the Upper Sûre Lake attracts numerous nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Aboard the solar boat the history, flora and fauna of the largest water reserve of Luxembourg can be discovered. Numerous hiking trails and thematic paths invite you to explore the nature, culture and history of the region. The Nature Park Centre is located in the former cloth factory in Esch-sur-Sûre. The building houses a museum, which is dedicated to the cloth production, an information center and a shop with regional products, as well as a permanent exhibition on the park.
