Natural Park of the Upper-Sûre

Consisting of plateaus, narrow valleys with wooded slopes and the lake of the Upper-Sûre dam, built in the 1960's to meet the country's drinking water requirements, the Natural Park area is the right place for leisure activities and aquatic pursuits. Learning about an ecosystem or for research, wildlife and nature tourism is becoming increasingly important here.
During the Summer months, interesting nature park festivals are held such as the Kino um Séi (cinema by the lake) festival in Insenborn and the regional farmers' market Maart a Musik (market and music) in Eschdorf.
The House of the Park in the former cloth factory in Esch-sur-Sûre contains the reception and information centre about the activities in the region and is the first point of sale for buying typical regional products.
