Castles

A journey into the past

Éislek is home to many castles, which are well worth a visit. You might be asking yourself, why visit several castles in one area? The answer is simple: because they were built in different eras and because each building is unique.

From the impressive and entirely renovated castle of Vianden to the breath-taking fortress of Bourscheid and the mysterious ruins of Esch-sur-Sûre – no two are alike.

Don't forget to have a look at our event calendar. Every year, a variety of events are hosted in the Éislek's castles. The perfect opportunity to explore these historic gems in a different light!
