The Open air Konstfestival in Lellingen is a multidisciplinary festival focusing on art exhibitions and painting. The street art programme also brings movement to the village. Acrobats, street theatre, circus arts, walk acts and music transform the streets of Lellingen into a lively stage. Surprising performances and spontaneous encounters along the festival route ensure that there are always special moments to be had.

One of the highlights of the art festival is the live competition, in which around 80 artists present their works along the streets of Lellingen. Visitors can look over the artists' shoulders and witness how new works are created. For one day, the village is transformed into a lively open-air gallery.

The competition is divided into two sections: in one category, the works are created directly on site on a blank canvas, while in the other, prepared works can be presented. These are also worked on during the festival, so that the audience can experience the creative process live in both categories. The jury is made up of the audience itself. Visitors vote for their favourites using Tiercé cards.

In addition to the live competition, numerous exhibitions throughout the village invite visitors to discover the diversity of art – from painting and sculpture to photography.

Even the youngest visitors are not left out: in the Art Academy, children can get involved in various creative hands-on workshops and let their imagination run wild. Whether crafting, designing or experimenting with different materials – the focus here is on the joy of creative discovery.

The Konstfestival in Lellingen is therefore much more than an exhibition: it is a lively open-air art experience that brings together art, encounters and creativity in a special way.
