Museum of the Battle of the Bulge: Memories of the Liberation
The Battle of the Bulge was one of the biggest and most complex battles of the Second World War. It was as a result of this battle that US General Patton, to whom a monument stands in Ettelbruck, and his Third Army were finally able to free the people of Luxembourg from the German occupation.
The museum in the inner courtyard of Clervaux castle tells the story of this difficult period in the winter of 1944-45 with numerous documents, uniforms and weapons from the Battle of the Bulge displayed here.
