National Museum of Military History
What did soldiers and civilians have to endure during the Battle of the Bulge in the Second World War? The military museum in Diekirch shows realistic scenes from the lives of soldiers during war and reconstructs the battles in the surrounding area using life-size dioramas. The museum also illustrates the history of Luxembourg's resistance fighters between 1940 and 1945 and the development of Luxembourg's army.
With over 100.000 exhibits, it houses the largest collection of military objects in the region.
