Forest bathing with all your senses in Eschette
On the approximately 4 km long circular trail, you will experience the forest with all your senses together with forest bathing mentor Lynn Petry. From the barefoot path to scent stations to quiet moments of relaxation, a soothing break in the midst of nature awaits you.
Discover the recently opened forest bathing trail ‘Éischter Bëschrou’ in Eschette on World Tourism Day and as part of the ‘Lëtzebuerg, dat ass Vakanz’ campaign. On the approximately 4 km long trail, the focus is not on hiking itself, but on consciously experiencing the forest with all your senses. The trail runs through the ‘Kesselbësch’.
Together with Lynn Petry, a certified forest bathing mentor, you will experience the practice of forest bathing (Shinrin Yoku). At various stations, you will discover the diverse effects of the forest: feel the ground on the barefoot path, test your sense of smell at special scent stations, relax in hammocks or listen to the voices of nature. Small mindfulness exercises help you leave everyday life behind and find inner peace.The forest bathing trail thus combines knowledge, relaxation and the experience of nature in a unique way.
