Panoramic Platform Belvédère Burfelt

Where? Esch-sur-Sûre

Nestled just a short drive from the Belgian border, the Burfelt Belvedere stands as a captivating testament to the transformation of a once house-dotted valley into a scenic wonder. Erected in 2016, this panoramic platform, situated 70 meters above the Upper Sûre lake invites visitors to immerse themselves in nature's embrace.

Crafted with precision, the Belvedere is a contemporary wooden structure characterized by two narrow concrete walls seamlessly extending into supporting beams. This innovative design not only provides a sturdy foundation but also ensures an unobstructed view of the lake and its serene surroundings. The inclusion of a glass railing enables even the smallest explorers to marvel at the breath-taking panorama.

The Burfelt Belvedere is more than just an observation point; it's an integral part of the "Burfelt" forest discovery center, promising a unique and immersive nature experience.

As you step onto the slightly elevated plank floor, the wooden platform gently ascends, creating an optimal vantage point. The cleverly designed sloping side walls further enhance the viewing experience, providing a sweeping panorama of the lake and its verdant environs.
