The Kul’Tour Schieren invites you to rediscover the village in a new light, following a route marked by information panels that bridge the past and the present. At each stop, old photographs and photos from today taken from the same angle, reveal how the area has changed and tell the story of life in days gone by.
Over the course of 1.7 km, you’ll encounter the history of the schools and the two railway stations, Villa Toussaint and the current town hall. The streets, farmhouses and even the old cafés, once at the heart of social life, are brought back to life through these visual records.
