To mark its 40th anniversary, ‘Layers and Narratives’ captures the essence of what QuiltArt is all about. Under the guiding principle ‘The quilt as a work of art, a means of artistic expression and a personal challenge’, eight founding members set new standards. They moved beyond traditional techniques and created space for free interpretation. Innovation remains a central focus. The diversity of the works, the individuality of the 16 artists, as well as discussions and exhibitions, strengthen the group’s cohesion and creativity.
