The rocky Lätgesbierg viewpoint near Vianden offers an alpine hiking experience in a spectacular natural setting.

Lätgesbierg is a rocky viewpoint located on Nat'Our Route 5 and can only be reached on foot.

Here, hikers can enjoy an almost alpine experience with an impressive view of the lower reservoir of the Vianden pumped storage power plant and the wooded banks of the Our. The viewpoint is located right on the German-Luxembourg border.

This challenging passage requires good footwear and surefootedness, but can be bypassed on several hiking routes if necessary.

Bunker Kaundorf
This bunker from World War II, where deserted forced conscripts hid until liberation, can be reached via an approx. 1 km-long footpath. The walk is well worth it, as hikers near the bunker are rewarded by an impressive view over the Upper Sûre Lake.

Upon arriving at the ‘Place de la Libération,’ you’ll immediately come across two massive pieces of graffiti. In 2017, the first graffiti by Mantra was created here, bringing a piece of nature back into the city.
