Kids at the museum

During our child-friendly activity, young explorers dive into the fascinating world of slate – from its geological origins to its extraction and final products.

.

A guided tour designed especially for children takes them 42 metres underground to discover the slate mine Johanna.

To round off the experience, the young visitors get hands-on: using a piece of slate, they craft their own medallion – a unique souvenir of an exciting underground adventure.
