Ettelbruck City Tourist Office

This mural is inspired by a 2023 artwork titled “Summerbirds”, which explores the deep connection between humans and birds, symbols of freedom, renewal, and harmony with nature.

Fun by the Alzette: the mini-golf course in Ettelbruck invites families and friends to enjoy a relaxing time outdoors.

The second artwork on the square is a colorful graffiti by Stick, which immediately catches the eye with its green vines and orange background.

In 2023, Luxembourg artist Raphael Gindt created a graffiti near the parking lot at ‘Place de la Libération’ as part of the ‘Share your Cloud’ campaign, which raises awareness about youth mental health.

Surrounded by young football players – and participating alongside them – the artist observed the value of teamwork, the thrill of scoring, as well as the frustration of a defeat or a missed pass.

The artist, a resident of Ettelbruck, presents here her first work in public space. Trained in visual arts, she approaches this project as a personal and creative challenge.

The mural in Ettelbruck is painted in typical shades of white and blue, depicting mermaids swimming through a pattern of spirals and stars. Positioned near the river, the artwork incorporates elements connected to water in a mystical way.

Upon arriving at the ‘Place de la Libération,’ you’ll immediately come across two massive pieces of graffiti. In 2017, the first graffiti by Mantra was created here, bringing a piece of nature back into the city. The tree at ‘Place de la Libération’ was perfectly integrated into the artwork by the French artist.
