Auto-Pédestre Baschleiden route

The Auto-Pédestre Baschleiden starts in the village center. Through forests, it goes downhill to the Hellekessel, where the Hämichterbaach flows into the reservoir. This is also the lowest point of the hike.

The route runs directly above the reservoir. From here you can catch beautiful views of the water. It continues past the Rommwiss. This lawn, especially popular in summer, is ideal for a short rest.

Now it goes up and down through the forest, to the switchbacks at the Schleef, the most strenuous part of the hike. From here, you quickly return to the starting point.
