Description
In Ettelbruck, near Haff Ditgesbaach, a short circular trail invites one to discover the typical regional landscape of the ‘Cactus Bongert’ in a playful way.
The 3 km nature trail leads through a varied environment with hedges, orchards, small watercourses and an old limestone quarry. Ten educational stations, many of which are interactive, explain the importance of these habitats for people and nature.
A special highlight is the viewing platform in an old apple tree. Accompanied by cartoon characters such as Yuppi and Amelie the Bee, the trail is particularly suitable for families.
All information boards are available in five languages. The circular trail is free to the public and ideal for a short detour into the countryside.
