Description
The Auto-Pédestre Weiswampach runs in the extreme north of the country, very close to the Belgian border.
The Auto-Pédestre path starts at the town hall in the village center. From there it descends towards the northeast until it reaches and crosses the Schibech. It then continues uphill into the quiet Leithum. The village of 125 inhabitants lies directly on the Belgian border.
Now the path reaches a small stream, which it follows until the stream flows into the Schibech. Along the Schibech, you walk through green meadows before crossing the stream. This is the lowest point of the hike, ideal for a short break.
From here, the path goes always uphill back to the starting village. Through a dense forest, you return to Weiswampach, where many places to eat and rest await you.
