Baschleiden - Tempelskamp

The Tempelskamp viewpoint near Baschleiden offers hikers sweeping views over the Upper Sûre reservoir and the hilly landscape of the Éislek.

Nature lovers can enjoy the panorama over the lake, including the Rommwiss, the surrounding forests and rocky cliffs from a 6 metre high viewing tower. The Tempelskamp is only accessible on foot and is well connected via local hiking trails such as the Autopédestre Baschleiden and the western section of the Circuit du Lac.

Picnic tables invite you to take a break in nature.

Especially in the early hours of the morning, when the mist is still over the lake, the viewpoint unfolds its very special charm. A hike there at sunset is also worthwhile. This is when the surroundings take on beautiful golden colours.

Picnic area Déck Lee
The "Déck Lee" has an eventful history behind it. This impressive rock served as a retreat for 30 Eschdorfers on 25 December 1944 before the deadly fighting between the German occupier and the American troops. Today, a sign commemorates the events. The "Déck Lee", located in the Milbich valley, is also a great place for a picnic. The best way to reach it is via the Wassersënneswee.
