Bavigne dam
The Bavigne dam, part of the Upper Sûre reservoir, was built in the 1950s, requiring the relocation of mills and farmsteads. Standing at 23 meters, it guards the lake's pristine water quality. Today, as a popular diving spot, it unveils submerged remnants like bridges and a mill, echoing a rich history amid the progress.

Urban Art by Lisa Junius - Cité Waarkdall
This artwork by Luxembourgish artist Lisa Junius is a unique bonus on the tour. Located in Warken, about 2.3km from Ettelbruck (~32 minutes on foot), it lies just outside the main route — but it’s well worth the walk. Here, Lisa painted a large snake silhouette directly onto stone, using her signature blue tones and symbolic motifs. The result is a peaceful, powerful presence in nature — blending art, mythology, and femininity in her characteristic dreamlike style.
