Create your own slate and discover the underground mine!

Come to the Slate Museum and discover how slate was worked in the past! You can cut your own slate - just like the slate workers used to do. Then decorate your tile with bright colours and dots and turn it into your very own work of art. You'll be surprised how easy it is to create something really unique!


Afterwards, take an exciting guided tour of the mine 15 metres underground and find out how the slate workers used to work there. There's lots to discover and you'll see how slate mining used to work.


For whom: Children aged 6 and over
