Concert by the LYRA Ettelbruck Municipal Choir

The LYRA Ettelbrück Men’s Choir is building on its success of recent years and continuing the tradition with catchy tunes and popular hits. Conductor Marion Michels has once again put together an exceptional programme, unearthing some of his favourite pieces from his youth and rearranging several of them for the men’s choir.

So this year, once again, you’ll be able to hear well-known evergreens from past decades, such as ‘Are You Lonesome Tonight’, ‘Delilah’, ‘Green, Green Grass of Home’, ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’, or German pop hits like ‘Liebling, mein Herz lässt dich grüßen’ and ‘Ich hab’ dein Knie geseh’n’. 

However, the continued success of the LYRA Men’s Choir is due not only to its carefully selected programme, but also to the camaraderie and positive atmosphere within the entire ensemble. Efficient work is made possible by a high attendance rate at rehearsals. This exceptional and dedicated work ethic – whilst always characterised by good humour – guarantees quality on stage and is rewarded by an enthusiastic audience.
