The Bluebird Coffee Sessions

Armed solely with his voice and guitar, Bert Marijsse (frontman of the blues band The Nightcallers) has been delivering raw and authentic music to stages since 2009. His sound is firmly rooted in Delta blues, Hill Country blues, and Piedmont fingerpicking traditions. He performs original compositions and personal interpretations, influenced by legends such as Mississippi Fred McDowell, R.L. Burnside, Lightning Hopkins, Rev. Gary Davis, John Hurt, and others.
