Visiting the Farm: meet the animals & explore together
A gentle first step into farm life: children meet the animals up close and discover in a playful way what everyday life on a farm looks like.
In the “Visiting the Farm” workshop, children explore the farm at their own pace and get to know the animals that live here. Cows, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, pigs and horses are all part of daily life on the Hans Haff farm.
Farmer Sandra guides the young visitors through the stables and across the yard. She explains what each animal needs to feel at ease, using simple language that even the smallest children understand.
The farm has been run by the same family for three generations, and this long experience gives the visit a particularly authentic feel. Children see how a real farm works — close to nature, respectful of the animals and full of small discoveries. Some animals may also be gently stroked, something most children remember long after the visit.
This workshop is especially suitable for younger children who want to experience a real farm for the first time and discover the animal world with all their senses.
