Meditative Nature Walk: Slow Down and Reset
A three-hour hike for adults and young people who want to leave everyday life behind and reconnect with nature.
This approximately three-hour meditative hike is designed for adults and teenagers – no prior experience is required. The focus is on being consciously present outdoors: slowing down, breathing fresh air and stepping away from daily routines.
The starting point is the church in Hoscheid. From there, the roughly five-kilometre route leads through woodland and across open hills to the Molberlee, a striking slate ridge offering wide views over the Schlinder valley. The trail itself is generally easy, but the ascent to the ridge is more technical and requires sure-footedness. The terrain drops steeply on both sides. Those who experience fear of heights should take this into consideration beforehand.
Parts of the hike are intentionally kept quiet. Simple breathing exercises and gentle standing movements are integrated along the way – not as a workout, but as a way to find your own pace again. At the Molberlee slate ridge, participants pause for a short seated break. The hike concludes with a cup of tea enjoyed together outdoors.
The group is limited to a maximum of eight participants, allowing space for personal reflection and a focused experience of nature.
